Its 48 pages are packed with period black and white photos along with 8 pages dedicated to beautiful full-color drawings. This is a revised edition of Volume 18 of Osprey's Vanguard series, which was first published in 1983. One of the notable improvements is the detailed cut-away by free-lance illustrator Jim Laurier. It's interesting to note that Jim's computer-assisted drawing is based on his study of the Panzer IV at the American Armoured Foundation. Photos of this same tank are featured here on this site.
